We now h ... ave more than 27,000 members and offer seven different programs to meet the needs of those in our counties. We work closely with health care providers and county public health and social service departments to support wellness. We also offer our members a variety of health promotion programs. South Country Health Alliance is a county-based purchasing health plan governed through a Joint Powers Agreement between 8 counties. The Joint Powers Board is comprised of 8 elected county commissioners, one from each county owner. The Joint Powers Board provides the organization’s vision and policy direction. read more
