The South Bend Radio Control Club (SBRC) began in 1983. Since that time, SBRC has grown in membership and in the quality of i ... ts flying site. Our flying site features a runway, shelter, electricity and a grill for those all day flying ventures. We offer free flight instruction through the AMA Intro Pilot Program and will even let you use our plane so there is absolute no cost to learn. SBRC plays an active role in the community, as well. We work with the University of Notre Dame Aerospace Program as well as the ETHOS Science Center.
