Since our foundation in 1989, we pursue to foster the scientific de ... velopment at all levels by both experimental research and clinical studies, as well as publications and continuing medical education. Our major focus is the development of new techniques and improved instrumentation in the fields of CMF surgery. To achieve those goals, we established regional groups all over the world. SORG Europe and North America feature six different sections focused on different areas of oral and craniomaxillofacial surgery. These sections include: craniofacial & pediatric surgery; preprosthetic surgery, implants & anesthesia; orthognathic, cosmetic & sleep apnea; TMJ & pain; trauma; and reconstructive surgery/tumors.
