Sections are local affiliates of SPE. Sections provide the opportunity for SPE members in a geographic area to exchange technical information, network with peers, support student chapters, and engage in other activities to benefit their communities. The primary mission of SPE sections is to disseminate information through regular meetings and educational programs. The SPE Northern Norway Section is based in Harstad, Norway. It has some 60 members. The section hosts a variety of events for its members during the year.
