With the assistance of a remarkable Auxiliary Board, innovative administrators and socially-oriented physicians, the Department has developed from a single social worker to a staff of over 500 today. Social Workers at Mount Sinai have been recognized on local, national and international levels. We are proud of our history at the forefront of the profession.
