Our SMART Cheshire Innovation Challenge is a programme is for micro and small to medium-sized businesses looking to develop new products, processes or services. It's for companies based in Cheshire or Warrington. SMART Cheshire is an opportunity for business owners to explore what innovation looks like for their companies, to access our academic expertise, and to share experiences with like-minded entrepreneurs. It consists of two phases: The first is the SMART Cheshire Innovation Launchpad, and the second is the SMART Cheshire Innovation Challenge. The Launchpad is a two-day workshop to help business owners explore their ideas. Topics include how to identify customer problems, how to profile customers, and whether your business is ready and able to innovate. After completing the Launchpad, eligible businesses are invited to join the SMART Cheshire Innovation Challenge. Typically running over a 12-week period, it's a series of practical-based workshops, group sessions, and one-to-one coaching to prepare businesses to launch their new product, service or process. Our SMART Cheshire Innovation Challenge is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
