Each year thousands of learners unlock their employability potential ... or promotional prospects as a result of attending our vocational training programmes where they learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends. We continue to expand the range of vocational, return to learn, health and well-being and leisure courses for you to develop new interests, personal skills or skills for work. We want all our learners to achieve their full potential during their time with us. Our courses are separated into accredited qualification courses and leisure courses, but also information about training for business including Apprenticeships. Our co-funding body, the Skills Funding Agency, continues to prioritise investment in qualification courses, maths, English and apprenticeships. These are considered essential to economic recovery, business growth and improved productivity. This is the second year of Advanced Learning Loans for eligible learners aged 19yrs+, providing a real opportunity to access a level 3 or above qualification to help you progress in employment, self-employment or personal skills. To help you to get the most out of whatever you choose to learn, we have a range of support systems in place: impartial Information, Advice and Guidance, specialist learning and financial support. Help with improving your English and maths skills is also available. Our staff are committed to achieving excellence and innovation in all we do and this is reflected in our key values to ensure that you have a positive experience from enrolment to course exit. Our teaching and learning staff are committed to supporting you in achieving your personal learning goals and helping you with future options whether this is the next level learning, volunteering, community work or employment.
