SIB have four key responsibilities: • We prepare the Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland (ISNI) on behalf of the NI Executive • We help the public sector develop and deliver major programmes and projects • We operate the Asset Management Unit (AMU) • We help champion reform The majority of SIB's efforts are directed towards assisting the public sector to develop and deliver programmes and projects. Our role is to work in partnership with Departments to accelerate delivery timetables and obtain better value for the taxpayer.
