Our direct teachers (Master Higaonna, Master Itosu, Chojun Miyagi, Kenwa Mabuni, Chojiro Tani, Master Fujimoto, The Doshisha Oldboys, Keji Tomiyama and Naoki Omi) brought the efficient martial art experience from the war on Okinawa island to Doshisha University Karate Club in Japan.
