Sheltering Harbour provides a safe, sanitary, and nurturing environment that fosters each child's self-worth. Founded in 1992, Sheltering Harbour has been providing quality residential services for over 25 years. Sheltering Harbour over the years has developed a solid relationship with our local churches and organizations. Sheltering Harbour is dedicated to the belief that every child with an emotional disorder is a unique individual, whose personal identity must be respected and developed. The multidisciplinary team, consisting of a psychiatrist, social worker, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Child-Care Administrator (LCCA), childcare worker, and educational specialist, provides therapeutic milieu, which emphasizes interpersonal skills and communication.
