Sex and Self is a registered Canadian non-for-profit that works to provide gestating and vulva-owning individuals with compre ... hensive sexual educational seminars, workshops, events, and resources. Our one and only goal: autonomy through education, power through pleasure Sex and Self is a youth-led sexuality education initiative founded at McGill University in May 2019, having evolved into a registered Canadian non-for-profit. This organization was created in response to both the barriers in accessing comprehensive, evidence-based, trauma-informed, intersectional knowledge of relevance to sexuality, and the vast extent of misinformation and stigma perpetuated by the present unstandardized provincial curriculums . We believe that it is a basic human right to have autonomy and agency over one’s body and sexuality.
