In 2018, SSCS became a high performing charter school and achieved accreditation by AdvancED's Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS-CASI). As part of the Orlando Science School system, SSCS offers a well-rounded curriculum aligned with Florida Standards and Next Generation Florida State Standards taught in an intimate learning environment with emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
