Situated in the dunes just north of the mouth of the River Tees we have some of the best links land you could find in this part of England. With 18 holes designed by the legendary golf architect Dr Alister MacKenzie, and 4 more created by the renowned Frank Pennink, we have the ability to provide a supreme golfing challenge for players of all abilities. Founded in 1874 we are the 10th oldest golf club in England and our greens and fairways have been graced by some of the greatest golfers in history, including Walter Hagen, Harry Vardon, James Braid & J H Taylor, and more recently by the likes of Sir Nick Faldo, Justin Rose & Graeme Storm. The Club has recently been selected to host the 2014 English Amateur Stroke Play Championship, otherwise known as the Brabazon Trophy. This is the second occasion that Seaton Carew has played host to this prestigious event, the first time being in 1985.
