Scott's History Scott’s Seafood Grill & Bar has been a long-standing tradition in the San Francisco/East Bay area since 1976, when the first Scott’s opened on the corner of Scott and Lombard Streets in San Francisco. In November of 2002, Food Specialists, Inc. bought the trademark to use the name Scott’s Seafood Grill & Bar exclusively in both Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Currently Scott’s Seafood operates a restaurant and banquet services in Oakland at Jack London Square. The dining room capacity in Oakland is 230 (all with a water view) with an additional 75 seats in the bar and 60 on the beautiful patio. Our Oakland location has six private banquet rooms that can accommodate parties from 10 to 400 guests. Our Walnut Creek location which opened in 1987 has a dining room capacity of approximately 220 people. We have eight private banquet rooms that can accommodate from 10 to 200 guests. Scott’s Walnut Creek is also the exclusive concessionaire for all private events at the Museums at Blackhawk in Danville with a seating capacity of 450 guests.
