Scienscope was founded in 1995 to meet the growing need for reliable general purpose optical and video inspection solutions f ... or the electronics and PCB industries. Scienscope has evolved to become a leader of complete inspection solutions offering x-ray inspection systems, microscopes, measurement systems, and machine vision. Scienscope began our most significant new product development in 2000, micro-focus x-ray, due to increasing popularity of the Ball Grid Array. Customers could not complete a final inspection with optical or video technology. They had to look through the package to detect voids, cold solder, bridging, opens, etc. Scienscope’s X-Scope line now offers four offline/batch machine platforms as well as several AXI inline platforms to meet the needs of circuit board, medical device, solar panel, metal casting, LED, automotive, and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Scienscope systems include a range of 90kv to 130kv micro-focus x-ray tubes, digital flat panel image detectors, programmable motion control (up to 6 axis manipulation), and intuitive inspection and measurement software. In 2016 Scienscope introduced their new award winning AXI-5100 component counter which is available as a batch system or completed automated inline system. read more
