Founded by Bernhard Schott in Mainz in 1770, Schott Music became home to world-famous composers such as Beethoven and Wagner ... who entrusted their works to Schott; today we publish masterpieces by composers such as Hindemith, Orff, Tippett, Stravinsky, Ligeti, Penderecki, Takemitsu, Henze, and Reimann.
