ScareCo Haunted Attraction was founded in January 2014 by a small team. Owners Alex Riner-Willens and Joshua Overturf brought ... over 25 years of combined experience in the Halloween and Haunted Attractions Industry, becoming leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area. In October 2014, ScareCo Haunted Attraction debuted with the event "Platform 13" at West Oakland's abandoned 16th Street Station. They then brought the event "Haunted Hornet" to Alameda's historic aircraft carrier, USS Hornet, for two seasons from 2015-2016. ScareCo uses Hollywood-grade makeup FX, intense audio, low lighting, fog, and animatronics to immerse patrons in unique atmospheres inspired by the horror genre.
