Rusthall Lodge first opened in 1968, thanks to the generosity of Miss Fremlin (of the Fremlin Brewery) and the kindness and hard work of a number of other local benefactors and supporters. 50 years later, it provides a comfortable and fully-accessible home for 69 residents. A 50th anniversary is an outstanding achievement for a stand-alone care home.
