The RCRA started out as a modest facility with only one indoor arena. We have over 250 stalls, 3 Olympic sized outdoor rings, ... full outdoor Dressage ring and a total of 3 indoor arenas for multi—discipline riding. The academy is located in what’s known as the “Golden Horseshoe”. Being a premier all-season facility in Canada, we have hosted several prestigious events over the years. In 1985, the facility hosted the North American Young Riders Championships (also known as the NAJYRC) in Dressage, Show Jumping and 3 Day Eventing. We also hosted the popular 1986 World Dressage Championships, evidently this was the only time this competition has been held outside of Europe. During the same year, this facility also hosted the World Cup Jumper competition and Olympic Qualifiers. read more
