Welcome to the Milford (NH) Rotary Club! Established in 1950, our dedicated membership has a long history of fellowship and o ... f community service in keeping with the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”. Our Club includes the towns of Amherst, Milford, Mont Vernon and Wilton, NH. Milford Rotarians raise funds through three annual events – The 100 Holes of Golf in One Day Tournament held at the Amherst Country Club; A Pancake Breakfast on the Sunday after Labor Day; and the sale of Christmas Trees from Thanksgiving weekend until they are all sold! Annually, we support numerous and varied small and larger community services and initiatives through our charitable giving program. Annually, the Milford Rotary Club donates well over $80,000 annually to groups such as SHARE Outreach Inc, Bridges: Domestic and Sexual Violence Support, Boys and Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, Open Cupboard Food Pantry and Senior Dinner program, various programs sponsored by our local libraries, and numerous student programs throughout the local school systems. Additionally, the Milford Rotary Club distributes $30,000 in scholarships each year to local students attending vocational and academic institutions. The club regularly participates in Rotary’s Group Study Exchange and Youth Exchange programs. The club is very engaged with our local Interact Club that includes three area high schools. In 2012, with club support, a Milford Rotarian started the Souhegan EarlyAct Club. EarlyAct is an innovative program designed for the elementary and middle school student. The Souhegan EarlyAct Club, the first of its kind in our district, started in Amherst with the intention of eventually engaging other Souhegan Valley schools.
