As radical as that may sound, our mission is just that: to proactively seek after the Lord to such an extent that we can catch glimpses of His kingdom here. Now, what does that look like? It’s about having no fear. Roots Church preaches victory over sin through the sacrifice made on the cross by Christ Jesus. We boast in Him and Him alone, and we spend our days trying to walk out our lives in a manner that appropriately reflects the authority placed in us as sons and daughters of the God. It’s about looking toward to eternal things. We aim to change popular culture and societal beliefs within the communities in which we take part. Our practices are based on the fundamental truth that our lives here are but a mist; our eyes are set on Christ and what He has in store for us. It’s about being a well. Walking in an understanding of our identities in Christ, and in knowing our worth, we as a ministry endeavor to be a source of life for the communities that we touch. Member or visitor, friend or foe; we want to see people come to Jesus Christ.
