MEET OUR PASTORS Jim Cameron Jim has been in ministry since completing full-time Bible College in Townsville in 1988. He has served as both Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor until 1994 when Riverside Church was born. Jim is passionate about connecting people to Jesus and the life that he has for them. He loves cycling, scuba-diving and golf in his spare time, as well as being with family. Jim and Paivi have lived in the area for 15 years. They have a son and a daughter; both of who are married and with their partners, live locally and are involved in the life of Riverside Church. Paivi Cameron Paivi completed full-time Bible College in Brisbane in 1999. She serves alongside Jim with her main focus being leading the women’s program and writing. Paivi loves people and wants them to know how much God believes in them. Her favourite things are time spent with family, movies and coffee with friends. read more
