The RIBA Europe Group is a meeting place for lovers of Architecture and the profession of Architecture’s contribution to the ... quality of the environment and our quality of life in Europe. It is non-partisan, open to all who are members of RIBA and ascribe to its aims and values. We launch at a difficult moment where BREXIT is dominating plans and relationships so we want to encourage discussion on this and related themes. We are here to ensure that the practice of architecture within our region can inspire other regions to interact with us and raise our common benchmark to that of the very best. We want to encourage the growth of local meeting groups on a “Jour Fixe” so that on (for example) the last Friday of every month, members can meet at a given venue within a specific locality. We stand for the inclusion of the broadest possible spectrum of viewpoints, backgrounds, racial origins, lifestyles and orientations. We celebrate all that is different as a driver of creative debate and common-sense evolution.
