[ENG] RESINFRA EU-LAC is a project funded by Horizon 2020 (EU Framework Programme for R&I) with the goal of enhancing bi-regi ... onal collaboration between European Union and the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region. Through the analysis of local strategies, policies, roadmaps, and funding tools in the LAC region, the project identifies Research Infrastructures upon which to build this bi-regional collaboration. Four Pilot Actions are being implemented in areas of knowledge recognized as priorities for the scientific cooperation between the EU and LAC: Instruct-ERIC [Structural Biology], E-RIHS [Cultural Heritage], RICAP [Transdisciplinary Application of Computation] and LifeWatch ERIC [Ecosystems and Biodiversity] By making use of extant collaboration experience, RESINFRA EU-LAC is promoting joint research actions and facilitating the access to high level scientific instruments, methods and data, as well as the exchange of best practices regarding research infrastructures management. [ESP] RESINFRA EU-LAC es un proyecto financiado por Horizon 2020 (Programa Marco de la UE para R&I), con el objetivo de mejorar la colaboración birregional entre la Unión Europea y Latinoamérica y el Caribe. A través del análisis de estrategias locales, políticas y herramientas de financiamiento existentes en LAC, se identifican estructuras de investigación, para generar colaboración birregional. El proyecto implementa cuatro acciones piloto, en áreas prioritarias para la cooperación científica entre UE y LAC, estas son: Instruct-ERIC [Biologia], E-RIHS [Patrimonio Cultural], RICAP [Aplicaciones Interdisciplinarias en Computación] and LifeWatch ERIC [Ecosistemas y Biodiversidad].
