Relate Mid Surrey is a non profit-making local charity providing a service to anyone who is dealing with a difficulty within ... their relationship. We have counselling on offer for couples where the relationship is good but there is a specific physical or psychological difficulty, Family Counselling to assist family members who may be experiencing difficulties in their relationships with one another, and there is a listening service (Young People's Counselling) available for those aged between 10-25 who have been affected by the breakdown of a relationship within the family. Relate believes that an individual's physical, emotional and mental health benefit from a committed relationship; that children thrive in families where relationships are positive and free from destructive conflict; that expressing clear commitment contributes to a healthy and secure couple relationship. We work with a wide range of clients including individuals, married couples, couples in a civil partnership, co-habiting partners including same gender couples, and gender reassignment and with no discrimination based on age, race, personal beliefs, or social background.
