National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) with a mission to respond to and combat serious incidents of cyber-crime impacting the region. We aim to increase awareness of both cybercrime and awareness across the industry and encourage innovation in the cyber security sector. We are working to create local partnerships with academia and industry in order to develop real synergies in cyber crime capabilities around prevention of and response to incidents of cyber crime. The RCCU is part of the Regional Organised Crime Unit for the West Midlands Region (ROCUWM), a collaboration between the police forces of West Mercia, Staffordshire, West Midlands and Warwickshire, with the ambition of reducing the impact and increasing the disruption of serious and organised crime across the region and beyond. read more
