We have been around for 12 years setting the standard in recycling industry for the collection and recycling of clothing, toys, books, small appliances and other unwanted items. We built, placed & maintain over 700 textile recycling bins across Ontario & BC and we have 19 trucks to provide best Residential Curbside Textile Collection & Recycling programs. Did you know 85% of all textiles end up in a landfill despite 95% being fully recyclable? Currently, there are approximately 500 million pounds of textile sitting in Canadian landfills today. Textile puts tremendous strain on our environment. In 2016, Recycling Rewards recycling programs helped divert approximately 20 million pounds of textiles and other items from our landfills. Recycling Rewards is also a proud Partner of the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, and since its inception in 2005, this long-time partnership has contributed over $1.8 million. A Wish has a measurable and meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families; the joy of a wish often provides a welcome respite for the child and their family, a break from medical appointments and their usual treatment routines. A wish can have a powerful and transformative effect on a child coping with a life threatening illness. At an average cost of $10,000 per wish, Recycling Rewards has helped grant over 180 wishes to children with life threatening illnesses together with Children’s Wish.
