Twenty years later, he formed a small survey operation in Whistler under the name Robert B. Brown & Associates, together with his son, Brian Brown. Brian received his B.C.L.S. commission in 1982, achieving the Association of BC Land Surveyors’ Gold Medal Award for highest overall mark.
