Our goal is to offer behavioral health care to the residents of Geauga County and surrounding neighborhoods who are experiencing mental health or substance-related issues. Those with severe mental illness have a life expectancy that is 20-25 years shorter than the general population. Addressing all the health issues of the individual in a comprehensive manner is more likely to have a positive outcome. At Ravenwood Health, we will pursue both physical and mental health recovery for the individuals we serve. Accredited by the Joint Commission, today, we have over twenty-five programs across eight sites, sensitive to differing socio-economic needs across the community. We support all ages, genders, and beliefs, oftentimes in our offices, but also at a client’s home, within a school, a community center, or offsite throughout the region during a response to crisis. Our clinical and administrative team has grown to over 150 employees with an annual budget of over $8 million.
