10Radio is a community radio station broadcasting on 105.3fm in western Somerset, England. It started full time broadcasts in January 2008 and now has over 50 hours of live programming each week, a similar amount of repeated programmes and playout from an eclectic music archive the rest of the time. There are over 70 volunteer presenters of shows varying from a weekly community programme (Friday 9am), daily breakfast shows (from 7am), and music ranging from dub reggae to delta blues, and from rock'n'roll to raging thrash metal, via a bit of Wagner and Gilad Atzmon. 10Radio provides training for its volunteers and has just acquired a mobile broadcast and training studio which will be providing training and other services across Somerset. read more
