Every year we construct our own community of upperclassmen crew leaders and first-year crewlettes. First-years and returning participants grow close as they visit a vast array of community service sites in Durham throughout the program. The diverse group of crew leaders are involved in the full spectrum of academic and co-curricular activities and also serve as mentors for first-years as they transition into their lives as Duke students and Durham residents. read more
