Initially PLP (GB) Ltd introduced and manufactured a comprehensive patented range of helically formed wire based on those developed by Preformed Line Products USA. Since our formation, our facilities, product range and markets have expanded considerably. A new, purpose-built factory and office complex was opened in Andover, UK in 1975 and further significant expansion of both factory and laboratory facilities has subsequently taken place. The PLP (GB) Ltd product range has expanded to include fittings for High Voltage Overhead Power Transmission Lines, with emphasis on wind induced conductor motion control. In addition, we now supply fitting packages for all types of overhead optical fibre cables, a growing range of telecommunications products and a wide range of factored products.
