Power of 100 Prior Lake (and surrounding communities) is a women's charitable giving and networking organization that meets q ... uarterly. We have the potential to generate more than $10,000 per meeting to benefit a local charity. How it works: - Hold quarterly meetings one hour duration. - Each member or member team commits to donating $100 per meeting ($400 annually). - Three charities are drawn randomly at each meeting, and the members who nominated the charities give a short presentation. - One charity is chosen by member vote and each member donates $100 directly to the selected charity. - Members not attending the meeting are notified by email to send their $100 check (made out directly to the selected charity) Charity Requirements for submission: - Must have a 501c3 (IRS Certified Tax Free Status) - Organization must be in existence for a minimum of 1 year - Organization must benefit our community; national charities may be considered for local impact read more
