Porsche found a second home for itself at its Leipzig location more than ten years ago. Since the ground-breaking ceremony in ... the year 2000 we have continued the development of the Porsche story here. Since that time a great deal has been constructed and produced in Leipzig: with three extensions to our works, for example, we have created the space required for the production of new Porsche models, cars such as the Cayenne, the Panamera and the Carrera GT – the super sports car which was produced up to 2006 in a limited edition of 1,270 vehicles.
