Porcher Industries Germany GmbH is a worldwide leading producer of technical fabrics, made of glass, carbon, aramid, basalt a ... nd other synthetic fibres. For 50 years, we have met the highest demands of our customers in a variety of market applications , including the electronic, aerospace and automobile industries, textile architecture and many other fields of application. In cooperation with our customers, we often develop new solutions for technical products. Recent innovations include special fabrics for securing buildings in areas endangered by earthquakes, and our new line of non-flammable decoration fabrics. Our core competence is producing fabrics of high level of product consistency and reliability, from roll to roll. Our know-how has developed over many years of work, resulting in a seasoned, experienced team of people where production, administrative, technical and sales associates work in harmony as a team, for mutual success with our customers. For many years, the central warehouse of INTERGLAS was located in Erbach, near Ulm. In 1993, the building complex was extended by an additional modern office building and a production area for glass fabric finishing. In 2007, the weaving department moved from the Blaustein facility to Erbach, 20 km away. As a result of this centralization, all production was now established in one facility. Today, Porcher Industries Germany GmbH, with its entire range of technical fabrics, made of glass, carbon and aramid filament yarns as well as other synthetic fibres, is able to meet the highest demands of their customers all over the world. In 2003, the former INTERGLAS TECHNOLOGIES AG was acquired by P-D Management Industries Technologies GmbH and is now member of the P-D Fibre Glass Group, which is part of the Preiss-Daimler Group.
