In thematischen Programmen und mit neuen und kreativen Formaten entwickeln wir echte Alternativen für eine konstruktive Außen- und Europapolitik. Polis180 is an innovative, nonpartisan platform where young people can contribute their political ideas outside of traditional frameworks and be heard in the political sphere. It’s a space where both criticism and optimism are at home. Forget left vs. right. Don’t be fooled by the word “grassroots” or our Berlin address: we encourage discussion based on the better argument, wherever it lands on the left-right spectrum (and beyond). Come as you are. Polis180 fosters the kind of participation that’s open to all socio-economic, ideological and academic backgrounds. Make some noise. We facilitate all kinds of events and revel in the unusual. Dream it, then do it. Want to write a policy paper? We’ll help you publish it. Want to organize an event with political decision-makers? We’ll provide the infrastructure. Bring your ideas and we’ll do what we can to implement them. Polis180 was founded in June 2015 by a group of young political entrepreneurs with diverse ideological backgrounds. We’re united by the desire to have the voices of our generation heard by political decision-makers, and we’re backed by a strong organisational structure. We work with a voluntary executive board and have a staffed head office that runs the platform. We fund our activities through generous grants and public funding, membership fees, and collaborations with non-profits and private donors. Let’s talk!
