Real Food, Real Recipes, Real people. The P’Nut name is derived from our Head Chef, Nut who overseas our street noodle menu. The letter P in Thai culture is derived from ‘pee’ which signifies an older brother or sister and used with respectful recognition. Chef Nut began working with his Grandmother at the age of six, grinding chilli paste and learning to make sauces from scratch in Grandma's street-side hawker stall in Thailand. Once he became an adult, Nut improved his culinary skills throughout south-east Asia and developing his favourite recipes before arriving in Australia. Our menu has originated from Grandma’s own made-from-scratch recipes using a mix of fresh, locally sourced Asian ingredients combined with Grandma’s secret recipes designed to take you on a culinary journey through the streets Asia.
