PFF Group is very proud of its story as a UK manufacturer. Husband & wife team Andy and Michelle Bairstow founded the busines ... s in 1993 to make making plastic packaging for cosmetics, toiletries and gifts and carry out packing for imported goods. What has followed has been a family legacy spanning almost 30 years. Long hours, risk-taking and solid investment in estate and machinery have earned PFF its respected place in the UK packaging world. PFF’s packaging division is now one of the UK’s largest independent food packaging manufacturers. After being awarded a Department of Health and Social Care contract for disposable aprons in April 2020, the PFF Health division was established. PFF has matured into an independent giant in the UK plastics industry with customer-driven innovation, sustainability and creativity as key drivers. We are an influential ‘interrupter’ that courageously diversified at a time of National need, to make disposable aprons destined for use by UK NHS and social care staff. Kenton Robbins was appointed as Group Managing Director in 2017 which enabled Andy to focus on the strategic development of PFF, as Chief Executive Officer. A clutch of glittering packaging industry product design awards and accolades were to follow. PFF Group are genuine pioneers in the plastics industry who remain committed to being at the forefront of the latest manufacturing technologies and cutting-edge processes. The business is a stoic advocate for anticipating customer needs. In amongst this is recognition of plastic as an essential, recyclable material for the modern world. We are immensely thankful to the people who work here. The PFF leadership team provides strategic planning and guidance but on a day-to-day basis, it is our loyal staff, many of whom are long-serving, that enable the business to operate 24/7 - and to thrive. As for the future? ‘We are going for it’. read more
