Performing Arts Committee (PAC) is a club based in Harold M. Brathwaite Secondary School that demonstrates the talent the bli ... zzards possess at our school through multiple events held throughout the year. The organization is supervised by Mr. Dejong and consists of 129 members. The PAC team consists of the Presidents (Kavyaa Sukheja & Hardeep Gambhir), the Finance Team (Shivohum Nar, Vasu Sukhija), the Marketing team (Hrid Patel, Ravneet Sajjan, Megha Warrier, Althea E. Varghese), the External Relations team (Yuvraj Aujla, Heer Narkhede, Katyayani Bhardwaj, Nirositha Gunaratnam, Puneet Jhooty), and the PAC representatives (Akshiya Jegatheeswaran, Amrit Jhooty). The events include performances of different cultures of our community, specifically the multicultural community of Brampton. The six teams that will be performing at the events are Giddha, Bhangra, Hip-hop, Spoken Word, Bollywood and Vox Choir. Each team represents their own talents in radiant actions. Winter Showcase being held in the last week of December and Asian Heritage being held in May are our prime events that happen every year to carry the tradition. Lastly, we hope to introduce a new event this year, “PAC x BEAD” where PAC and BEAD will collaborate to put forward a new multicultural event full of beauty, light, and joy. read more
