PEACOC is a project funded by the European Union’s H2020 programme with a budget of €11.2 million. Its key objective is to re ... cover Platinum Group Metals, Gold and Silver, from spent autocatalysts, waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and end-of-life (EoL) photovoltaic panels. Based on previously developed technologies in another H2020 research and innovation project #PLATIRUS, PEACOC will scale up to pre-commercial scale several technologies and demonstrate the recovery of those precious metals on kg level per week with economically and environmentally viable technologies that have also compact size and low CAPEX and OPEX. The project is coordinated by TECNALIA, an European leading research and technological development centre. The consortium has 18 other partners covering the whole value chains from waste to new products. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 958302. read more
