In 2017, we embarked on our mission to change the lives of Canadians by launching the Paytm Canada app - the first app in Canada to reward you for paying your bills. Our popular consumer-facing mobile app allows consumers to pay their bills using multiple payment options as well as earn rewards via their smartphone. Next, in 2018, we entered a joint venture between Paytm, Softbank, and Yahoo! Japan to launch PayPay, a QR-based smartphone payment settlement service in Japan offered to both merchants and customers. PayPay has rapidly become a super app with 30 million customers and counting. (Approximately 1 in 3 people in Japan use our app!)
