Each year, about 1050 teams participate in Partille Cup. This also means more than 20 000 participants from 50 nations. The t ... ournament is played every summer in the city of Gothenburg at more than 50 fields. All fields consist of artificial grass. We believe that Partille Cup has so many participating teams and continues to increase, because the participants are very satisfied. A magical feeling is created when the entire world is coming together and gets to know each other during one intense week. The meetings between people are a thrilling experience for many. The fact that food, fields and any other associated activities are of good quality is something you get on top of all the other experiences. Partille Cup has always been the largest youth tournament in handball. Maybe that is because it also was the first. When Partille Cup was played for the first time in 1970, is was played in the community Partille just outside of Gothenburg, hence the name Partille Cup. In 2004, the tournament had grown out of the community and moved into the city of Gothenburg. The event has never stopped developing and today Partille Cup is so much more than a week of handball.
