Strategically located in historic Beacon Hill, Park Street School and Park Street Kids is a neighborhood elementary/preschool ... that seeks to unite children of diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds from Greater Boston in a nurturing school of the highest academic standards. Through an engaging, content-rich curriculum, we strive to empower and equip each child with a love of learning, a passion for truth, a heart for others, and an understanding of God's love and grace for us in Jesus Christ. In September of 2000, 36 children joined four teachers and a director at the preschool called Park Street Kids, located at One Park Street. Two years later, the elementary school, Park Street School, was established, and in 2005 after extensive renovation, Park Street School officially opened its new doors - the 1914 Brimmer School at 67 Brimmer Street. Today, we care for more than 100 children at the preschool, and educate more than 200 students through sixth grade at the elementary school. In the fall of 2011, Park Street School opened an additional campus just down the street on Brimmer at the Church of the Advent, to provide a bright, airy space for its Kindergarten class. Today, our graduates are enrolled in over 20 different competitive, excellent independent and exam schools throughout the Boston area, including Belmont Hill, Boston College High, Boston Latin, BB&N, Newton Country Day, Nobles, Roxbury Latin, and Winsor, and three (3) Park Street School graduates have been accepted to Harvard over the last three years. Two (2) graduates have been accepted to MIT this year. In addition, we have graduates from the last four years of college admissions accepted to many schools with acceptance rates below 25 percent including Amherst College, Bowdoin College, Colby College, Columbia University, Middlebury College, Tufts University, Williams, etc. read more
