On Sunday the 24th of April 2011, Oud-Heverlee Leuven secured the 2010-11 2nd division title and gained promotion to the 1st division for season 2011-12, following a 2-2 draw at Royal Antwerp. They rounded off the season the following Sunday with a 2-0 home win against Lommel United, amassing a total of 73 points from 34 games and finishing 8 points ahead of 2nd placed Lommel United.
