Scammers, posing as NuvoGroup executives, are using fake emails to contact individuals, interviewing and offering them a job. Upon offering a job, the criminals request a W-4, I-9 and/or direct deposit authorization info resulting in the disclosure of the individual’s sensitive personal/financial information. To protect yourself, you should be aware of the following: -Emails from NuvoGroup have the domain nuvocares.com. If you receive a job offer or other correspondence from nuvocares.co, or from Gmail, Rediffmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, Telegram or Instant messaging apps, it is NOT from NuvoGroup. -NuvoGroup never requests payment from candidates. Anyone making an employment offer in return for money or other gain is not authorized by NuvoGroup. -While NuvoGroup sometimes uses a third party agency to assist with recruiting, NuvoGroup executives using an email with the domain nuvocares.com always make the offers.
