KEEP Teaching is a national trial run by the Institute of Physics. It investigates how to help NQT physics teachers develop r ... ewarding and enduring careers. This supports the IOP strategy objective of ensuring every student has access to a high-quality physics education. We're looking for newly qualified teachers (NQTs starting in Sept 2021) and their schools to join the trial. This page has been set up to help trainee physics teachers identify schools in their area looking for physics teachers and to help schools find their future physics NQTs. We are not a recruitment agency and are not offering jobs, we're facilitating contact between future physics NQTs and schools looking for physics teachers. Who can take part in KEEP Teaching? * Non-selective state secondary schools in England, recruiting a full-time physics NQT to start in September 2021 *Trainee teachers (physics specialists) looking to start NQT roles in eligible schools in September 2021. 300 schools will participate over the three-year programme. Each school will typically participate for one year.
