Norwegian Digital Learning Arena (Nasjonal digital læringsarena) is a joint enterprise operating on behalf of the county admi ... nistrations in Norway. Its purpose is to develop and publish extensive and diverse digital learning content for all subjects taught in upper secondary school. This joint purchase enterprise was initiated in 2006 as the responsibility for the acquisition of learning content was delegated to the county level. The main focus of NDLA is to provide all students with a wide range of subject matter for all disciplines, free of charge. NDLA’s long term goal is to inspire to an increase in the use of digital learning material within all subjects in upper secondary school.
