Our community mental health center has been providing services to the citizens of Koochiching County and surrounding area, si ... nce 1959. We currently provide a broad range of safe and effective, outpatient mental health services, including: assessment, evaluations, and testing; individual, couples, family, and group therapy for the general public; as well as specialized services for individuals with serious and persistent mental health issues. One of the advantages to services provided by a Rule 29 Community Mental Health Center is our important interdisciplinary case consultation model that requires clinicians to obtain feedback and suggestions from other professionals within the agency on each new case and for ongoing complex cases. In addition to therapy services, Northland Counseling provides a spectrum on community based services including Adult Mental Health Rehabilitative Services (ARMHS), Children's Mental Health Case Management, and Children's Therapeutic Services & Supports (CTSS). We also operate the Hardwig House, a clubhouse model program offering groups, individual skills, meals, and socialization.
