• More than a student organization; a crucible for which ingenuity, creativity, and intelligence is forged. • 300+ discord me ... mber strong group dedicated to providing students with the tools to explore their careers, gain work experience, and raise the bar for community college students everywhere. • Students can designate themselves as one or more members of sub-groups named after the letters of STEM; "Science", "Technology", "Engineering", and "Mathematics". • As a result, they have the opportunity to participate and facilitate in projects related to their major, gain access to study groups for classes needed for transfer, and become initiated in a family of future innovators. • What sets Norco STEM apart from other student organizations is our rich technical background and our two golden mission statements: - To lead and participate in student-ran projects, research functions, competitive team, and campus events related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. - Students can either take part in large-scale projects that are often funded by the school's STEM grant and done in collaboration with prestigious institutions such as Loma Linda University and NASA, or start their own passion-driven activities by speaking to one of our many faculty advisers. - To give students the tools to explore their careers and truly understand what their potential can blossom into, and how to undergo the growth necessary to realize their potential. Internship & research opportunities, workshops, STEM-Education outreach events, field trips to universities & companies, and more are researched, developed, and distributed by students for students.
