The University Park Chapter of NOBE was officially founded in September of 2014 in the Harold and Inge Marcus Department of M ... anufacturing and Industrial Engineering when the founding members realized the value in combining their technical background with the principles of economics. The group ultimately decided to set forth to provide all students with a working knowledge of both financial and technical concepts and terminologies necessary to function in a corporate business setting. Today, NOBE serves to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical disciplines by allowing students of all departments to collaborate in an environment that provides value-added opportunities.
